CPA Philip Kakai

CPA Philip Kakai was appointed as a member of the Board of KASNEB effective 13 December 2024. He  is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK) in good standing and a Certified Professional Mediator. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in Leadership, Financial Accounting and Management, Budget Management, Audit, and Project management gained from both the public and private sector.

He is currently an Assistant Director of Finance at the Judiciary in charge of Revenue and Deposits and serves in various Policy and administrative committees of the Judiciary. He previously served as an Ag. Director of Finance and an Ag. Deputy Director Accounts at the same Institution. Before joining the Judiciary in 2013, he served as the Finance Manager of Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) Limited for over 8 years having risen from a Senior Accountant. He started his career as an Accountant at Parklands Sports Club and has served the Accounting profession since then.
